Is anyone OK with having to submit your disabled child’s name to the UN? That in itself is enough reason to fight against the US signing this treaty. @Mike Boyd, if parents have to relinquish their right to do what they think is best for their child, and instead are compelled to follow international law, regardless of our own constitution, THAT violates American sovereignty. Any treaty or law generated by a foreign power, that trumps our constitutional law, violates our sovereignty.
@Miki They want to take away your parental rights…they feel they “they” know what’s best for YOUR children, not you!
Can you tell us how it threatens US sovereignty and parental rights and why we should oppose it or should we just take your word for it??
It is important for those of you with special needs children and those of us who love you, to take a public stand on this.
