Made in the USA Christmas - 2020

We have long been talking about how supporting the American worker and manufacturing will grow the economy in a way that benefits everyone.

As we enter the Christmas season especially with COVID19, millions of hard-working American families in the manufacturing industry or in communities impacted by that industry are struggling to make ends meet.

Did you know that a large percentage of our Christmas gift dollars go overseas? For every $1 we spend in the USA on manufacturing, $1.81 will be added to the economy. That is a great deal!

Sometimes it is simply difficult to find products made in the USA. The next best thing would be to buy local. Support the small businesses and workers in your own community.

This is how it works. After you sign the pledge, just take a look at your gift-giving budget and decide to spend as much as you can on things made in this country or sold by local businesses. It’s that simple!

Help make this a Red White and Blue Christmas by putting the American worker first. Join us by taking the 9th Annual Made in the USA Christmas Challenge!

  • We know the First Amendment says:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

  • We know that the First Amendment is one of our most precious rights as Americans, and we won’t allow it to be trampled upon.
  • We believe that the efforts by the City of Houston to subpoena materials from pastors across the city is a violation of that right.
  • We stand with these pastors and not just because of religious reasons.  We believe that regardless of one’s religious or political views, this kind of activity by any government in this country is extremely alarming and must be stopped.
  • We believe that the constant drumbeat to weaken our First Amendment is real, and we will stand with Republicans and Democrats to stop it.

I totally concur with you Lisa. Awesome post and the purest truth about the greatest danger facing our nation and the world in generations. Thank you, Senator Santorum for having the courage of your convictions to have brought this threat to light back in 2006 when everyone was telling you to shut up, and thank you for continuing to speak out on this and calling out those who are too naïve to understand it. Your wisdom, discernment, focus, foresight, and resolve are exactly what is needed to deal with this threat here and now. 2016 can’t get here soon enough. God bless you!

  • The IRS has proposed harmful regulations that will silence the voice of conservatives across the country and curtail the activities of 501(C)4 organizations just like ours!
  • If these regulations are allowed to go into effect, they will categorize the following important community activities as "political": voter registration, candidate forums and debates, voter guides, voting records of incumbents and even public statements by officers or leaders of the organization.
  • This is a violation of our First Amendment rights under the Constitution and an example of the extreme lengths that the Obama Administration will go to quiet the opposition.
  • DEADLINE: We have until February 27th to comment on these regulations and demand a public hearing!

Please do not approve these proposed regulations which will impact my ability to express my First Amendment rights under the Constitution.  The IRS is not a political entity, yet these regulations are politically motivated in an attempt to silence conservative voices.  I ask that you do NOT approve these misguided regulations. Janice, the fearmongering over women not being able to have access to pap smears and mamograms if abortion clinics are shut down is baseless. I believe Austin is teaming with actual women’s health centers that offer these services. I seriously doubt that women all over Texas are going to start dropping dead everywhere because baby killing centers are put out of business. Recent undercover investigations of abortion clinics across the nation by Live Action have exposed the lie that PP centers and abortion clinics even offer these medical tests. Also, the only purpose for a late term abortion is to deliver a dead baby. Good medicine aims to care for and/or save the lives of both mother and baby. The goal of an abortionist is to guarantee the baby is delivered dead. The stream of pregnant women filing through abortion clinics is not due to a high level of pregnancy complications threatening the lives of these women; it is symptomatic of a culture that says human life is acceptably disposable as long as the life being disposed of is hidden from view.

Will you join us and go 'toe-to-toe' against Texas State Senator Wendy Davis and anyone else who supports abortion at any time and for any reason?

If so, sign below!

By signing this petition, you commit to the following:

  • - Yes! I will go #toe2toe4life against Wendy Davis and anyone else to save an innocent life.
  • - Yes! I #StandWithLife in support of Texas Senate Bill 5 (#SB5) which bans abortions after 20 weeks.
  • - Yes! I #StandWithLife and agree it was reprehensible for the President of the United States to send a ‘shout-out’ to Texas State Senator Wendy Davis for her 11-hour filibuster in support of abortion on demand at any stage and for any reason.

  • - Yes! I #StandWithLife by applauding Governor Rick Perry for calling the Texas Senate back into a special session so that the Senate body can vote their support for and pass #SB5, a landmark piece of pro-life legislation.
  • - Yes! I #StandWithLife because I agree that these precious baby shoes, shown going ‘toe-to-toe’ with Wendy Davis’ filibuster shoes, remind us that we must stand for those who can't stand for themselves!

signed Demand the truth about Benghazi 2013-06-07 13:53:03 -0400
All the recent Obama scandals have deflected attention away from what happened in Benghazi and why. Why did the Obama administration deem it acceptable to risk the lives of 30+ Americans via a stand down order to nearby military ready and able to render assistance the 2 courageous Navy SEALs who fully expected backup as they fought the attackers for 7 hours ALONE? 4 Americans died because help was denied. Where was Barack Obama during the attack and what was he doing? Did he delegate all authority regarding the Benghazi situation to Hillary or is she just a cover for him? We demand to know the truth and we want those responsible to be administered the justice fully due them for their part in this.

Demand The Truth about Benghazi!

5,497 signatures

It’s been more than two years and we still don’t have answers about what happened in Benghazi, Libya when four brave Americans were killed on September 11, 2012.

While the White House is doing its best to quietly and purposefully sweep this tragedy under the rug, we are Patriot Voices are refusing to back down.

We refuse to back down until former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton comes out of the dark and starts answering the important questions about who knew what and when.

Former Secretary of State Clinton asked "what difference, at this point, does it make?"  It makes a big difference.  The truth matters, and the victims' families as well as the American people deserve to know what happened.  Watch this video and help us demand that Hillary Clinton come clean on the following:

•         Who knew what and when?

•         Why were warnings ignored?

•         Was there a cover up?

•         Why were the talking points changed 12 times?

•         Why did her spokesperson delete critical facts regarding the attacks?

If anything, the Constitution RESTRICTS the government from deciding how best for me to protect myself and my family. I have the God given right to use whatever means necessary to preserve my life and the lives of my family should the need arise. ANY erosion of the 2nd Amendment leads to the inevitable elimination of my right to bear arms. The American people will NOT allow this to happen.

I, the undersigned, a lover of liberty, an American patriot, and defender of the right to bear arms, do hereby implore you, our elected representatives, to protect our Second Amendment rights and stop efforts aimed at "universal background checks."

Recent incidents of heartbreaking gun violence have brought the issue of gun safety into the spotlight.  Putting further restrictions on law abiding citizen-gun owners is not the answer.

We have gun laws in place, we need to work hard to enforce existing laws, not create new laws that do nothing to deter criminals and madmen.

The Second Amendment was drafted to protect our First Amendment rights, and according to my First Amendment right to petition, I expect review of this request, and will hold you accountable for your response to it.

Finally, I do hereby pledge to stand with Patriot Voices and conservative patriots nationwide in support of the Second Amendment and against efforts to implement "universal background checks."

Ok, we all know where Senator Santorum stands on the issue of gun rights. His statement was a brief but broad one which has left us nit-picking details and such not addressed therein. Remember, this was a statement, not an Op-ed. As a Santorum Conservative and supporter of Patriot Voices, I’d love to see Rick get his message out there via full panel discussions, debates, speeches, radio interviews, etc. wherein he can publicly elaborate full spectrum on issues like this.

National Petition for a Balanced Budget Amendment

Sponsored by Patriot Voices

To: All members of the 114th United States Congress

I, the undersigned, a lover of liberty, an American patriot, and a concerned citizen, do hereby implore you, our elected representatives, to immediately introduce, vote on, and pass a 28th amendment to the United States Constitution mandating a balanced budget.

A Balanced Budget Amendment would require by law that the federal government not spend more than it takes in and would ultimately cap federal spending at 18% of gross domestic product (GDP).

Because our country can't afford to continue down this unsustainable fiscal course any longer, I urge you to pass this Balanced Budget Amendment before completing the federal budget for the coming fiscal year.

According to my First Amendment right to petition, I expect full compliance with this request, and will hold you accountable and responsible for fulfilling it.

Finally, I do hereby pledge to stand with Rick Santorum, Patriot Voices, and conservative patriots nationwide in support of fiscal sanity, accountability, and a balanced budget.

Hereby signed,

Larry, I could easily say it’s “spoilers” like you, knowing that your vote for someone with zero chance of winning, were willing to serve up your nation on a silver platter to a Marxist dictator in the making. Having to deal with the hand you are dealt is a hard reality. This was the biggest stinker of an election from the GOP primaries to the general election. Calling me and the others “moderates” for supporting Rick Santorum when he had no other realistic choice than to back Romney is beyond absurd. Bishop EW Jackson said " Don’t use your faith as a cover for foolishness." You have NO idea how tirelessly many of us worked to try to carry on Rick’s campaign after he was forced out, but it did NOT work. The forces against us were too big and shut us out. This was not Rick’s fault. We all were served the choice of two bitter pills, one immensely worse than the other. The stark reality was that NO other candidate even showed up as a blip on the radar. Barely a smidgeon of voters had even heard of your candidate. That is reality. I fully support Rick Santorum should he run again. Endorsing and voting for Romney does not make one just like Romney. You made your choice; so did we. I won’t label you the aforementioned “spoiler” since I believe you voted your conscience. Don’t make the mistake of thinking I and others didn’t do the same. If you’re looking for moderates to taunt, I suggest you visit the RNC website. You are definitely posting on the wrong site to do that. I wish you well. God bless~

signed No Budget No Pay 2012-09-24 12:07:05 -0400
Makes perfect sense—-you don’t do your job, you don’t get paid. Why should Congress be exempt from this?

No Budget No Pay

6,378 signatures

The “No Budget, No Pay Act” would require members of Congress to forgo pay for every day after October 1 that they don’t adopt a budget and pass all of its spending bills.  Once members approved a spending plan and appropriated the money, they would start receiving paychecks again but couldn’t collect any retroactive pay.  The premise is simple: don’t do your job and you don’t get paid.

Sounds logical enough. When you are in the private sector, if you don’t do your job, you don’t get paid or worse you get fired.  We should expect the same from our elected officials.

Remarkably, Congress hasn’t passed a budget since 2009. The United States faces its most serious financial crisis and Senate Democrats could not be bothered to write a budget because budgets force people to make choices.  This has to change.

In the longer term, we need a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution so the federal government has to balance its budget like our states do.  And in the short term, we need a new law to start the process of fiscal reform today. The “No Budget, No Pay Act” is a good start.

Sign the petition below to support the “No Budget, No Pay Act.”  You can also obtain contact information for your Senator and Member of Congress.  Please call or email them and tell them to vote for the “No Budget, No Pay Act” (S. 1981 and H.R. 3643).  You can access a sample letter here that you can cut, paste, add your own personalization and then email to your Member of Congress and Senator.

Americans develop a budget within their household.  We should be able to rely on our lawmakers to do the same for our nation.  This is a core constitutional and job responsibility.
