Verona, PA - Former Republican Presidential Candidate and Patriot Voices Chairman Rick Santorum announced today the endorsement of Senator David Perdue for re-election to the United States Senate representing the state of Georgia. Senator Perdue is heading for a runoff race on January 5th .

Rick Santorum offered the following statement about the endorsement: "I am pleased that Patriot Voices PAC has made this endorsement today. David Perdue is an accomplished business leader with a deep understanding of the pro-growth policies our nation must pursue to create jobs. As we continue the economic recovery efforts, Senator Perdue’s expertise and leadership are essential in the U.S. Senate, and the people of Georgia know they can count on David Perdue to put the needs of the American worker first.”

“Having worked directly with David on healthcare issues, I can say with confidence that he is a thoughtful leader on this issue. He has championed patient-centered, market-driven reforms in our healthcare industry. On the immigration front, David is always conscious of the needs of American workers,” Santorum said, offering his insights into his experiences working with Senator Perdue.

With the balance of the United States Senate still undecided, the outcome of this Senate race in Georgia takes on additional urgency. “A Republican-controlled Senate will play an important role next year, providing a Constitutional and much-needed check on the radical proposals from the Left. The Green New Deal, tax hikes, and Medicare for All are just a few of the unpopular ideas the progressives are pushing. Senator Perdue will provide a key vote stopping those job-killing proposals, while also offering innovative and market-based solutions,” Santorum added.

“Patriot Voices PAC is launching a grassroots-led Get Out The Vote operation to protect the Senate and propel Perdue to victory. We look forward to Senator Perdue’s victory on January 5th and to welcoming him back to the Senate,” Santorum concluded.
