Rick Santorum's heading back to New Hampshire. The former senator from Pennsylvania and 2012 Republican presidential candidate will address the Northeast Republican Leadership Conference on March 14, CNN has learned.

Santorum, who battled eventual GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney deep into the 2012 Republican primary calendar, is mulling another bid for the White House. And any time a possible presidential candidate heads to New Hampshire, the state that holds the first primary on the road to the White House, the national political press corps takes notice.

Santorum will have some company at the event. Louisiana Gov. and potential 2016 Republican presidential contender Bobby Jindal is scheduled to give the keynote address. And Rep. Peter King of New York and former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton, two other Republicans who may consider 2016 bids, are also speaking at the conference.

This is Santorum's first visit to New Hampshire since the last presidential election. He's already made trips to Iowa, the state that kicks off the caucus and primary calendar, and South Carolina, which holds the first southern primary.
