Did you know that a large percentage of our Christmas gift dollars go to manufacturing companies overseas? That’s right. Many of the gifts that end up under the Christmas tree are manufactured in other countries.
This Christmas season, millions of hard-working American families, who count on their jobs in the manufacturing sector are struggling to make ends meet. Patriot Voices is committed to changing that! In support of the manufacturing and small business communities, we are launching our 3rd Annual Made in the USA Christmas Challenge.
As a part of this effort, we are asking you during your holiday gift buying to make a concerted effort to buy as many items as possible that are “Made in the USA”. Let’s support American companies and American-made products at the checkout counter.
You can help turn things around this season by taking the Patriot Voices Made in the USA Christmas Challenge.
When you head out shopping on Black Friday, take a look at your gift-giving budget and decide to purchase as many of your gifts as possible from US Manufacturers. It’s that simple!
And be sure and support Small Business Saturday on November 28th to help the small business owners in your community!
Add your name to the challenge, and let’s make this a Red White and Blue Christmas!153 signatures

It’s been more than two years and we still don’t have answers about what happened in Benghazi, Libya when four brave Americans were killed on September 11, 2012.
While the White House is doing its best to quietly and purposefully sweep this tragedy under the rug, we are Patriot Voices are refusing to back down.
We refuse to back down until former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton comes out of the dark and starts answering the important questions about who knew what and when.
Former Secretary of State Clinton asked "what difference, at this point, does it make?" It makes a big difference. The truth matters, and the victims' families as well as the American people deserve to know what happened. Watch this video and help us demand that Hillary Clinton come clean on the following:
• Who knew what and when?
• Why were warnings ignored?
• Was there a cover up?
• Why were the talking points changed 12 times?
• Why did her spokesperson delete critical facts regarding the attacks?
My American Dream can be summed up in just a few words, but further elaborated in oceans of thought. I have had many dreams of my own as an American, but as the years have went by and as I have evolved in wisdom by learning from the Bible, I have learned humility and that this life and earth does not revolve around me. As I have begun to think of others more than myself, I have begun to realize that my dream takes a back seat to the dreams of my grandfather that lives and my grandmother that has passed on. And if I were to sum up their dream, it would be this…………”TO ABOLISH THE WORD ‘RETARD’ FROM THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, AND EVERY DISCRIMINATORY AND PROFANE CONNOTATION THAT GOES WITH IT”. You see, as a child, I grew up with an uncle that my grandparents raised as their son, he was born a normal, typical child, but due to severe allergies and a brief period of a lack of oxygen to his brain, he became what we now refer to as ‘special needs’. When we lost Randy last year suddenly in his sleep, it became almost immediately apparent to us that we had lost one of the most precious souls on the planet. We had known this to a degree before Randy’s passing, but as the American proverb states ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder’. As I was growing up, ‘retard’ was one of those words that you just DID NOT say in our family. I appreciate that more progressively as the years have went by. It is those that so ignorantly and arrogantly proclaim to use this word ‘retard’ toward those that are ‘special’ that are truly those who are ‘slow in learning’. After my uncle’s passing and growing in my appreciation of the impact he had on my life, I have learned that it is those that are like him that are much wiser and more innocent than the rest we call ‘normal’. Randy had many characteristics like those with Down’s Syndrome (a loving and forgiving heart, an almost never ending smile and the ability to be a friend to anyone worthy of their love, and many times those not so worthy.) It infuriated me last year to find out from a speech that Rick Santorum gave that around 90% of those diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome in the womb are aborted . My anger is not so much an anger toward those who abort them, but anger toward a society that no longer realizes how precious these wonderful people are in society. If we, as a people, do not cherish and honor those who are weaker, we are part of a greater problem that will in the end defeat us as a society……….if we are so hardhearted and calloused that we cannot appreciate the wisdom, value and example these precious souls bring to our land, then we are fools without hope. In conversations with my grandfather after my uncle’s passing, he told me of the time when he was in a department store and an imbecile as they were passing says ‘Hey George!’ laughing, my grandfather and Randy (as a child) walks by again and the guy says ‘Hey George, what tree did you fall out of?’ in ignorant mockery because Randy looked a little different and proclaiming he was like a monkey that fell out of a tree, so my granddad confronted the guy as he was making fun of my uncle, and let’s just say he gave this guy the verbal smackdown of his life and that conversation changed that young man for life. At times I ask myself how mankind can be so hateful, but I know myself at times in life have made stupid choices without considering the impact on others, so again my American Dream is simple…….to carry out what would make my grandparents and Randy happy and fulfil their dreams……TO ABOLISH THE WORD ‘RETARD’ FROM THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, AND EVERY DISCRIMINATORY AND PROFANE CONNOTATION THAT GOES WITH IT AND TO BRING POSITIVE AWARENESS AND EQUAL RESPECT TO THOSE WE CALL ‘SPECIAL NEEDS’. It’s actually US that have the special need to change OUR hearts. As for my own personal dreams, they remain, but they remain 2nd. I know that this dream is just a dream and that every person will not change, but please consider your words wisely and open your heart to honor those that may appear weaker, but have stronger and more innocent hearts and souls. We were happy and blessed recently to see a father DANCING with his young daughter with Down’s Syndrome in a Wendy’s restaurant……that’s my realistic American Dream…….that more kids like that little girl can dance with their parent in a Wendy’s with a beautiful smile on their face and be cherished as precious, because they are.
My dream is that my children will continue to grow up in a Free Nation, and that when they grow up they will have the same and even better opportunities. I dream of an America that no longer kills innocent unborn babies, and a nation that will embrace all people with special needs. That's why I got involved with Patriot Voices last year because I seen the direction that we were headed as a nation and that's why I got involved and became a County Coordinator. I'm a homeschooling mom, and I sacrifice my time and money to preserve our Great Nation. Being part of this amazing team has given me a Voice, and I want my children to have a voice and be heard, I want the American Dream to continue for my children and lord willing one day maybe my grandchildren. America is still Great, we just need to fight for our freedoms now so that the American Dream will be preserved for the next generation.
To: All members of the 114th United States Congress
I, the undersigned, a lover of liberty, an American patriot, and defender of the right to bear arms, do hereby implore you, our elected representatives, to protect our Second Amendment rights and stop efforts aimed at "universal background checks."
Recent incidents of heartbreaking gun violence have brought the issue of gun safety into the spotlight. Putting further restrictions on law abiding citizen-gun owners is not the answer.
We have gun laws in place, we need to work hard to enforce existing laws, not create new laws that do nothing to deter criminals and madmen.
The Second Amendment was drafted to protect our First Amendment rights, and according to my First Amendment right to petition, I expect review of this request, and will hold you accountable for your response to it.
Finally, I do hereby pledge to stand with Patriot Voices and conservative patriots nationwide in support of the Second Amendment and against efforts to implement "universal background checks."

Senator Chuck Hagel is the wrong choice for Secretary of Defense because his confirmation would send a dangerous signal to Iran and other radical Islamic elements which would make our country and our allies less secure. Not only did Senator Hagel tip off the Iranians that he would not use strength to prevent them from obtaining nuclear weapons, he disrespects our strongest ally in the middle east, Israel. Time after time, Sen. Hagel has sought to distance the United States from Israel and refused to support efforts to end terrorist attacks on Israel.
Chuck Hagel’s anti-Israel, pro-Iran mindset makes him uniquely unqualified to serve as our Defense Secretary.
Add your voice to Patriot Voices' fight to stop Chuck Hagel’s nomination as Secretary of Defense using the short form below.
UPDATE: We’ve learned that Chuck Hagel’s confirmation hearing is set for January 31st. Please take three minutes to call or email your senators now and tell them to vote "no" on this nomination. Find your senators at this link.
UPDATE #2: The Senate Armed Services Committee announced that they are postponing the vote on Chuck Hagel's nomination to be Secretary of Defense. This is because of your calls, emails and overall opposition to Senator Hagel! Let’s keep the pressure on! Here are three easy ways to take action:
• Go to notochuck.com to send an email to your senators
• Call the capitol switchboard and ask to speak to your senators: 202-224-3121
UPDATE #3: Sen. Harry Reid has scheduled the confirmation vote for Friday, February 15th. A 60 vote threshold is required. Keep calling and emailing!
The “No Budget, No Pay Act” would require members of Congress to forgo pay for every day after October 1 that they don’t adopt a budget and pass all of its spending bills. Once members approved a spending plan and appropriated the money, they would start receiving paychecks again but couldn’t collect any retroactive pay. The premise is simple: don’t do your job and you don’t get paid.
Sounds logical enough. When you are in the private sector, if you don’t do your job, you don’t get paid or worse you get fired. We should expect the same from our elected officials.
Remarkably, Congress hasn’t passed a budget since 2009. The United States faces its most serious financial crisis and Senate Democrats could not be bothered to write a budget because budgets force people to make choices. This has to change.
In the longer term, we need a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution so the federal government has to balance its budget like our states do. And in the short term, we need a new law to start the process of fiscal reform today. The “No Budget, No Pay Act” is a good start.
Sign the petition below to support the “No Budget, No Pay Act.” You can also obtain contact information for your Senator and Member of Congress. Please call or email them and tell them to vote for the “No Budget, No Pay Act” (S. 1981 and H.R. 3643). You can access a sample letter here that you can cut, paste, add your own personalization and then email to your Member of Congress and Senator.
Americans develop a budget within their household. We should be able to rely on our lawmakers to do the same for our nation. This is a core constitutional and job responsibility.
