Help Patriot Voices Support: Warrior Gathering Weekend

September 24-27, 2012

Three day event for wounded warriors and their families in Nemacolin, Pennsylvania

As conservatives, we believe we have to take responsibility for helping our neighbor and not depend on the government for handouts every step of the way.  It is for this reason that I formed Patriot Voices: to help provide a forum for better civic involvement and awareness of the foundational values that make America great.

Patriot Voices is proud to partner with organizations and companies that share our commitment to helping our neighbors in their time of need.  And I am pleased to announce that Patriot Voices is sponsoring a “Warrior Gathering” for twenty wounded warriors and their families at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in southwestern Pennsylvania this weekend.

What started as an evening out for wounded service-members, the “Warrior Gathering” has transformed into a weekend-long effort that helps these patriots and their families heal, relieve stress and adjust to their new normal.

These men and women put their lives on the line every day, wearing the uniform of our great country to defend and protect the values of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  They deserve our gratitude and our help, which is why I am pleased that Patriot Voices is supporting this worthwhile effort.

If you would like to support this weekend’s “Warrior Gathering” please click HERE to make a contribution.  All proceeds from these fundraising efforts will go toward the Troops First Foundation, a 501c3 foundation that is working with Whitney Bradley & Brown in organizing this event.  Any funds raised above the costs of this weekend will be split among Troops First Foundation and the Warrior Canine Connection, two groups that help improve the quality of life for those men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country, and relieve the pressures facing both them and their families.

It is our obligation and duty to support these brave men and women when they return home, to provide both them and their families with the resources and support they have earned in defense of our nation.  Often the toughest battles our wounded warriors face is not on the battlefield, but on the home-front.  Help us in this effort to make this transition a little easier for those who given so much for each and every American.

Thank you and God Bless,

Rick Santorum
