Announcement: Santorum Names Terry Allen National Field Director and Senior Advisor

VERONA, PA - Former Republican presidential candidate, U.S. Senator, and Chairman of Patriot Voices Rick Santorum has named Terry Allen as National Field Director and Senior Advisor for Patriot Voices PAC.  Allen will be directing all national political operations for Patriot Voices PAC and coordinating and organizing grassroots efforts for the PAC in all 50 states.

Rick Santorum said: "Terry is a tremendous addition to our already-skilled grassroots team.  Terry's depth of experience, contacts, and strategic counsel will be a great asset to our efforts to advance our hopeful message of lifting up hard-working families.  It is critical that conservatives stand by not just the business owner, but the worker, and Terry understands this from his years of working on the frontlines of the conservative movement.  On behalf of the entire Patriot Voices team, we heartily welcome Terry on board!"

Terry Allen said: "I am excited to join Senator Santorum's growing team.  Senator Santorum's message of fighting for hard-working families is one that resonated in 2012 and still cuts to the core of the issues America faces today.  Too often, our national leaders have turned a blind eye to the millions of Americans who are getting lost in the shuffle, but Rick Santorum has never taken his eye off the ball of working to improve the lives of everyday American families.  I am looking forward to helping him spread this important message of hope and empowerment in the weeks and months to come."

Terry Allen has served as President of Fidelis Government Relations for nearly a decade, where he has worked on legislative and political campaigns at the local, state, and national level - including senior roles in the campaigns of Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK).  Prior to founding Fidelis, Allen served as Chief of Staff to Congressman Steve Largent (R-OK) and as the Executive Director of the Resource Institute of Oklahoma.  Allen began his career as a policy analyst with the Republican Study Committee.  During the 2012 election, Allen served as an advisor to Senator Santorum's victory in the Oklahoma Republican Primary.

Terry will work closely with Shelley Ahlersmeyer, Patriot Voices' National Grassroots Director, and Jessica Colon, Patriot Voices PAC's Political Director.  Together, this team will continue their efforts of outreach into every community to ensure that Patriot Voices members are engaged in the issues impacting our country and involved in key races across the nation.

As Political Director for Patriot Voices PAC, Jessica Colón oversees political activity and candidate endorsements for Senator Santorum and the PAC.  Through her efforts, Patriot Voices PAC endorsed in 34 races in 2014 and implemented Strikeforce turnout operations in the 2012, 2013 and 2014 election cycles. Based in Houston, Colón served as Texas State Director and as a member of the national finance team for Rick Santorum for President during the 2012 Republican primary.  She is also the founder of Colón and Company, a political affairs firm that has handled over 75 candidates, political organizations and initiatives since its inception in 2009.  Colón was a senior advisor to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's campaign for that office in 2014.

As National Grassroots Director, Ahlersmeyer helps Patriot Voices members connect and activate both online and on the ground, with a special focus on building strong communities using social networking.  Through her leadership, over 2,600 grassroots leaders have been added to Patriot Voices in addition to 150,000 activist members.   Ahlersmeyer served as National Grassroots Coordinator for Rick Santorum for President and also as a National Grassroots Coordinator for Huck PAC.  She has served on the board for Right to Life of North Central Indiana and as campaign coordinator for 40 Days for Life in her community.
