Verona, PA - Patriot Voices Chairman Rick Santorum is proud to announce Patriot Voices' support of the "Warrior Gathering," a three-day, all-expense paid getaway for twenty wounded warriors and their families at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in southwest Pennsylvania.
The "Warrior Gathering" began as an evening out for wounded service-members and has transformed into a weekend-long effort that helps these patriots and their families heal, relieve stress and adjust to their new normal.
All proceeds from these fundraising efforts will go toward the Troops First Foundation and the Warrior Canine Connection, two groups that help improve the quality of life for those men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country, and relieve the pressures facing both them and their families.
Rick Santorum said, "I am thrilled to help the 'Warrior Gathering' to support our returning veterans. These great servicemen, servicewomen, and their families have given so much in defense of our freedom and way of life. It is our obligation to support them upon their return, to stand side-by-side with them in their transition from the front lines to the home front. It is my hope that this small token of our gratitude can make a difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for us."
Mike Perez, Chief Development Officer of Whitney Bradley and Brown who is spearheading this event, said, "We are excited to have the support of Senator Santorum and his organization, Patriot Voices. Senator Santorum has been a strong supporter of our men and women in uniform throughout his entire career. Senator Santorum and Patriot Voices' participation is a tremendous addition to this event to bring attention to the need to support our wounded warriors."
