ICYMI: Santorum's "Busy Day in Iowa," Must-See Video, and More

Des Moines, IA - In case you missed it, former Republican presidential candidate, U.S. Senator and Chairman of Patriot Voices Rick Santorum travels to Iowa today for a full day of media interviews and meetings.

CNN writes, "The former senator from Pennsylvania and GOP presidential candidate who battled eventual nominee Mitt Romney deep into the 2012 Republican primary calendar has a jam packed 24-hour visit to Iowa. An aide to the former senator tells CNN that Santorum, who's considering another bid for the White House, will meet with senior strategists who guided his January 2012 victory in the Iowa caucuses."

"Santorum, who remains popular with social and fiscal conservatives, will also do numerous local interviews with Iowa media and hold a press gaggle with reporters. And he'll headline a fundraiser for Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz, who's running for Congress in a district that stretches from Des Moines to Council Bluffs."  Read the full story HERE.

Also, Santorum co-authored an opinion piece on CNN.com with Joel Rosenberg entitled, "Lessons of history: Americans fear 'second Holocaust' if Iran gets the bomb."

The op-ed says, in part, "The world is at a critical moment. President Obama must insist on a final deal that requires Iran to fully dismantle its illegal uranium enrichment capabilities, its heavy water plutonium facility in Arak, and its nuclear weapons development efforts."

"The President -- who never should have agreed to ease sanctions -- should also support congressional efforts and declare that if Iran refuses to truly give up its nuclear ambitions, then he will sign aggressive new sanctions to be imposed the moment the six-month period of the interim deal is complete. What's more, he should significantly beef up U.S. forces in the Persian Gulf, and abandon efforts to slash our Army to pre-World War II levels."  Read the full article HERE.

Patriot Voices released a video to its members that highlights how despite the dramatic events and foreign policy challenges our country is facing, President Obama seems to care more about becoming a pop culture icon than a serious Commander-in-Chief.  Watch the video HERE.

Santorum talks with Politico about President Obama's weak response to Russia's actions in Ukraine.  Read the article HERE.
