ICYMI: Santorum "Bucks Republican Orthodoxy" in Blue Collar Conservatives

Verona, PA - In case you missed it, former Republican presidential candidate, former U.S. Senator and current Chairman of Patriot Voices Rick Santorum's new book Blue Collar Conservatives is out today and already getting a lot of attention.

Over the weekend, Politico wrote that Santorum's new book "bucks Republican orthodoxy."  Santorum also appeared on CBS' Face the Nation to talk about the book.

The Washington Times writes, "the former Pennsylvania senator and presidential hopeful estimates there are about 6 million of those hard-working stalwarts out there, with much on their minds. And the Republican Party could be overlooking them, he warns in the book, published Monday by Regnery and a convincing signal that Mr. Santorum is not done with his quest for the White House."

The Associated Press also wrote, "Santorum said the GOP will struggle to win races unless candidates came up with policies that help working Americans.  Victories will be tough, he said, unless elected officials stop being obstructionists."

Senator Santorum authored two opinion pieces on Blue Collar Conservatives that are out today.  One in The Daily Caller that gives a thorough summary of the book, and one in Townhall that chronicles the story of Bemidji Woolen Mills which is featured in Blue Collar Conservatives.
